Memorabilia Valuation
I have recently valued the memorabilia collection at AFL Headquarters, also those at the Carlton, Brisbane, Collingwood, St. Kilda, Sydney Swans, Geelong, Richmond, Kangaroos, Essendon, Melbourne and Hawthorn Football Clubs. I've also valued major collections relating to soccer, Olympics, tennis and cricket.

Peoples Paraphernalia began about 25 years ago, when a couple of fellows were passing through the smalll township of Talbot, near Ballarat in Victoria. (The highway now bypasses the town). They simply dropped in to the general  store to get an icecream on a hot day. Talking to the store owner, they discovered that the store was actually closing that day.  In the store, they saw dolls with original price tags of 7/6 (seven shillings and six pence) crossed out, with 75cents new prices in place! Before they knew it (or why!), they'd bought the contents of the shop for what proved to be a bargain price.

After they fillied a pan-tech with all the goods in the store, the owner said "What about all the stuff in the sheds out back?" Another truck full! For many years, these fellow hired out the items they'd found to TV and film production companies. Finally, they decided to get out of the hiring business, and we (Marg & Rick) purchased the lot! It filled a warehouse!

On a monthly basis I send out a handy hints newsletter with tips on how to collect memorabilia.  I'd love it if you joined as a member of the website - just enter your email details here.
